Rusty Jeffrey ~ Trainer

Rusty has been training horses for over 30 years. He started riding bulls and saddle bronc horses in Rodeo while in the Army. After 4 years of service he moved to Arizona where he spent the next 14 years as foreman of 2 ranches. Rusty then spent 5 years as a Farrier and Trainer, breaking colts and fixing problem horses. The past 9 years he has been training cutting horses, he is self taught. Rusty loves working with horses and their owners and has rehabilitated horses with mental or physical problems with the help of Dr. Terry Swiderski. Rusty is a member of The American Quarter Horse Association and The National Cutting Horse Association.

Rusty also hand carves knives in his spare time and has recently started taking custom orders.

Shelly Jeffrey ~ Co-Owner

Shelly has had a love for horses since before she could crawl and has been riding horses from the age of two. Shelly formerly owned Lee Valley Outfitters, a riding stable in Greer Arizona, where she was praised for the superior treatment of all of her trail horses. Shelly is also an ex-Team Roper, Barrel Racer and Team Penner. Shelly is now Co-Owner of Jeffrey Cutting Horses and a background cattle operation. Shelly has bought and sold over 150 horses, numerous cattle and endless ranch and farm equipment. Shelly shows Cutting Horses in the Non-Pro category and has won several awards. Shelly is a member of The American Quarter Horse Association and The National Cutting Horse Association.

Shelly is also a member of The American Society of Equine Appraisers and is a Certified Equine Appraiser. (Principle of Valuation presented by The American Society of Equine Appraisers.)
